Using Funded Proposals To Build Business Online

One of my readers asked me if I would write more on this subject and that truly is a great idea. There is much more to a funded proposal than one could write about in a short article. So here goes, part 2 of my article on using a funded proposal to build a network marketing business online.

Just continuing from my last article on this subject, let me say that the idea of using a funded proposal is much the same as using a sales funnel. You have most likely heard of that concept before so I am not going to dwell on that here.

What I see happen with way too many people online that are trying to build a network marketing business is this. They promote their business opportunity or their product. You may wonder “what is wrong with that?” Nothing except it is like taking a slow road to China, unless of course you live in China.

To build any business online does take time and patience, but if your advertising is trying to show someone your business opportunity, forget it. That may have worked well online ten years ago but the internet is just buried with business opportunities. What are your chances of even being noticed amongst the millions of others out there doing the same thing?

You must stand out from the crowd to market anything, especially online. I hate to be the one to break this news to you, but the fact of the matter is… nobody cares! Nobody cares about how great you think your business opportunity is, how great you think the compensation plan is or even how great you think the product is. Get over it. Nobody cares, that is just all there is to it.

Network marketing has always been and will always be about one thing and that is relationships. Relationships are the key to success with your network marketing business. The only way to find people that may be interested in your business opportunity is to first build a relationship with them. If you skip this step you will become quite frustrated and aggravated with the possibility of growing a business online.

So how does using a funded proposal help you build relationships?

Well instead of advertising your business opportunity or product, you instead market yourself. You market training and information. Actually it is much easier to find people that are interested in LEARNING how to build a business online than it is to find people that will actually BUILD a business online. This is one of the major advantages of using a funded proposal to build your business is that you begin to brand yourself.

By offering information, training and resources that people can use to build a business online and offering those things for FREE you will find many people will take you up on your offer.

That is how you begin to build a list. Once people are on your list you then have an opportunity to build a relationship with those people. Get to know who they are, what their interests and concerns are. Let them get to know who you are, what your interests are and the kinds of things you like to do. Allow them to know the person you are.

Once they are on your list you have the opportunity to introduce yourself, connect with them on social media sites. They get to see more about the person you really are, your family, your interests and hobbies. Maybe you like to fish or ride motorcycles. Maybe you have kids that are about the same age, maybe your kids are involved in the same kinds of activities that their kids are.

You see the main point here is that you have to take the time to get to know people and let them get to know you. Build relationships and the business will follow.

We all prefer to purchase things from people we know and like. People we feel comfortable buying from or getting involved with. That is why in years past network marketing has been built the best in local markets with people you know. They trust you, they respect you, they like you. That is who we all prefer to do business with.

If you feel like you may not have the knowledge or experience required to offer people something of value online, that is easy to fix. Borrow it from others that do.
