Shortly after Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer bans work-at-home positions at her company Best Buy announces they too are making changes to their policies concerning work-at-home positions within their company.

Is this the beginning of a new trend or maybe the reversal of what seemed to be a trend of more and more companies creating work-at-home positions?

Critics believe this is a move in the wrong direction and expect the move to backfire on the companies that are going this direction, considering the technology of today as well as the negative impact it has on women more so than men.
